Scott Magnuson

Scott Magnuson, Executive Officer, is a respected industry specialist with over 20 years experience in asset disposition transactions. Scott helps companies, lenders, financial buyers, and strategic buyers to structure transactions and maximize returns on surplus and underutilized inventory, machinery and equipment.

Most recently, Scott was Chief Operating Officer of an international liquidation and appraisal firm. During his tenure, he gained extensive auction and appraisal experience. He also garnered valuable industry insight and built many strong business relationships.

Scott and his team have an extensive knowledge base in construction, material handling, stamping, fabricating and metalworking equipment. They have the heavy industry experience required to navigate through changing markets to maximize asset values for Meadoworks’ clients.

Brian Walsh

Brian Walsh, Executive Officer, brings years of corporate marketing and sales experience to the Meadoworks organization. As a director of the company—which was founded by his father—since 1995, Brian has overseen the development of Meadoworks’ exclusive retail platform and active leads database. His belief in technology has made Meadoworks one of the most technically savvy sales and marketing companies in the industrial equipment arena.

Prior to joining Meadoworks, Brian ran MSI, a global distributor of industrial equipment. He also gained extensive direct sales experience as head of machinery sales at Cincinnati Milacron.

Jennifer Diaz

Director of Marketing

Jennifer Diaz, Director of Marketing, specializes in reaching prospects. A technical background, together with advanced training in persuasion, gives her a unique advantage in marketing industrial assets.

Before joining Meadoworks, Jennifer worked as an independent commercial writer and marketing consultant. Her work has been referenced in the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times, and she taught hundreds to persuade in her live communication seminars. Jennifer holds an M.A. in Communication from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

James Teich

Corporate Counsel and Business Development

James Teich, Corporate Counsel and Business Development, is a seasoned transactional attorney. Mr. Teich represents Meadoworks in the marketing, liquidation, and/or purchase of inventory along with the disposition of leases in bankruptcy cases. He also assists with the structuring and documenting of transactions. He is a key component in Meadoworks’ growth strategy.

Mr. Teich graduated with honors from Emory University in 1993 and graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law with honors in 2000. He was the Executive Editor of the CK Law Review and a recipient of the Thomas I. Colby Merit Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Mr. Teich also received two CALI Academic Achievement Awards, and served as a judicial extern for Judge Ann C. Williams of the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
